I stumbled on to an interesting article which could effect those applying for waivers. There is a proposal by the USCIS to increase the fees for processing.
For example, the I-192 application for advance permission to enter as a nonimmigrant is currently $265 US. The proposal would increase it to $545 US (a, $280 or 105.7% increase).

How did you go about getting a check "drawn on a U.S. financial institution."
ReplyDeleteYou go into a US financial institution, give them US cash or Certified US funds & they will give you a 'Cashiers Cheque' in US funds drawn on their institution!
ReplyDeletePretty simple!
Toronto Pearson is accepting credit cards. They were not accepting money orders. Heard the CBP saying that someone managed to pay with a personal check but they seemed surprised so I wouldn't try it.
